Pineapple Wine

Dear John,

I just wanted to take a minute to let you know how great the feedback that we had gotten on Pineapple Wine.

Normally, most people leave around 10:00pm, but quite a few were out dancing until 11:30pm when the event was suppose to end. The first comment came from my husband who enjoyed the music and I didn’t have to beg him to dance, he offered. All night long, people came up to Angela and myself with comments on how great the band was.

Months ago, when we had started planning the benefit, one of the people that we were honoring was a little unsure of how her friends would handle being in a room and being close to the band all night. All of her friends are in there 70’s and 80’s and she was afraid that it would be too loud for them. However, we noticed that her and her friends stayed and truly enjoyed the music.

Also, thanks for being so great when we had the nightmare of moving our event to another location with just one week’s notice. We truly appreciate your and the bands professionalism. When the manager of Sammy’s had told me that you had called him to schedule a time to check on the room for the night, even though you had mentioned that you had played in the room before, I was pleased that you would go that extra distance.

Also, it was great that you could adapt and play more of the big band and swing songs to accommodate the swing theme of the night.

All of the members of the band were pleasant and friendly, we hope to see you in the future.
